Here are the two things that make the biggest difference to your result. They are the two most people never discover on their own.

Bend the brush

Hold the cap and gently twist the brush using your thumb and index finger. You decide how much you bend it, all the way up to 90 degrees. Straight gives separation and length, bent gives more lift and takes you closer to the lash root where the shortest lashes are.

Build in thin layers

Hold the brush horizontally close to the lash root and sweep upwards in one calm, even stroke. Let each layer settle for a few seconds before you apply the next. The formula is a little wetter the first few times and becomes firmer after a couple of uses.

One last thing: always straighten the brush completely before you put it back in the tube, otherwise the brush head can be damaged.

And this is how you take it off

Warm water, at least 38 degrees Celsius, for 15 to 30 seconds. Then press gently with clean fingertips and slide from the lash root outwards. The mascara comes off in small tubes.

No makeup remover and no oil cleanser is needed, and you should never have to rub. If it stays put the water is not hot enough, so soak again and repeat.
